  25. You definitely should be concerned about the RAM -- I wouldn't try
  26. running sys7 on a IIsi until I upgraded to 5 Mb.  (BTW, 4 1MB SIMMs
  27. costs about $100, less if used)  You can do it w/3Mb, but you won't be able
  28. to run more than one big app at one time.

  30. VM isn't too bad on speed, but it takes a lot of disk space -- which
  31. would be a concern with a 40Mb drive.  Obviously things will run a bit
  32. faster w/o VM running.

  38. No, it won't be a problem.  You'll just be missing a bit more than you
  39. were w/ sys6, since you get those spiffy color icons in sys7.

  48. I believe 7.0.1 was just an upgrade to support the Quadras, you don't
  49. need to use it on a IIsi.  But there's no harm in using it -- the
  50. differences between 7.0 and 7.0.1 are minor.
