- Hi there. System 7 lets you use graphics from applications such as
- MacPaint to replace the normal icon for any file. To do so, you copy
- the picture you want to replace the file's icon with to the clipboard,
- Get Info on the file from the Finder, click on the file's icon in the Get
- Info winodw (a small box will appear around it, indicating that it has been
- selected), and choose Paste from the Edit menu. My guess is that you've
- pasted a blank picture into your file's Get Info window, replacing its
- icon. Try choosing Get Info; then click the mouse in the place where
- the icon should be and press the Delete key. This will clear anything
- that you've pasted in and replace it with the file's original icon.
