  12. Hi there.  System 7 lets you use graphics from applications such as
  13. MacPaint to replace the normal icon for any file.  To do so, you copy
  14. the picture you want to replace the file's icon with to the clipboard,
  15. Get Info on the file from the Finder, click on the file's icon in the Get
  16. Info winodw (a small box will appear around it, indicating that it has been
  17. selected), and choose Paste from the Edit menu.  My guess is that you've
  18. pasted a blank picture into your file's Get Info window, replacing its
  19. icon.  Try choosing Get Info; then click the mouse in the place where
  20. the icon should be and press the Delete key.  This will clear anything
  21. that you've pasted in and replace it with the file's original icon.
