- This may be a stupid or frequently-asked question, but here goes:
-
- I have downloaded a file too large to fit on one ``floppy'' disk (it
- is approx. 2.5 MB), and need to transfer it to a Mac with floppies.
- How can I transfer this file
-
- - from a Sun to the Mac with floppies, or
-
- - Mac to Mac with floppies?
-
- I normally write a floppy with a 'tar' archive of downloaded stuff on
- a Sun and read it with suntar on the Mac, but I could also download
- the file to a Mac and then make floppies there. In neither case do I
- know how to handle a file larger than one floppy.
