  11. Hello there,
  12. I'm a Mac network manager (up to 20 Macs). Actually, the Mac server is really
  13. to slow (the server itself is a MacPlus).
  14. We will change it. We want to buy a Mac Quadra 950 to do the work. It has to
  15. share the files (with AppleShare 3.0), be a fax-modem server, and be a remote
  16. Oracle server (we will connect to a Sun through it via Ethernet).
  17. Does anybody of you havesuch a configuration ?
  18. Is a Mac Quadra 950 really justified, or a simple Mac IIci will be enough ?
  19. (Money is not a problem!).
  20. We need very fast access to disks and files (we use this very slow FileMaker
  21. Pro, and when 10 users are connected to the same file, accessing it is really
  22. not like a Porsche).
