- I use "Seal-Easi" envelopes, which have a folded-back adhesive flap on them
- to save licking. The paper seems a bit more porous than photocopier paper,
- and as a result the StyleWriter's print isn't quite as sharp. But it's still
- perfectly legible.
-
- I always use the rear manual feed slot for envelopes (this gives you a
- straight-through paper path), and I've never had misfeeds or wrinkles.
- I've even worked out that the top edge of the envelope is about 5mm
- lower than where my Mac thinks it is, and the left edge is about 1mm to
- the left. Thus I can get an address nicely centred by holding the envelope
- up to the screen.
-
- One hassle I've found with version 7.2.2 of the StyleWriter driver is, if
- the height of the page you've chosen in page setup doesn't match the height
- of the envelope, it's liable to complain, once it's fed the envelope through,
- that the paper is too short. But so long as I don't actually *print* anything
- off the bottom of the envelope, there's no real problem--I just click "Cancel"
- to tell it not to try printing the page again.
