  13. Glad to hear you like the NewLife board.  I use one also, but 
  14. don't think the sound is as bad as you do.  I do some sound work
  15. on my machine and have never had a problem.  (Besides, it's
  16. Apple's fault for writing such a timing sensitive sound manager.)

  18. $479!?!?  Wow!  I sell them for less than that!  MacConnection/
  19. Zone/Warehouse(especially Warehouse)are such gonifs.

  21. Did you do the install yourself?  Lots of people won't.  Often 
  22. the smartest move.  (I had to talk someone through reassembling 
  23. his machine over the phone.  He took EVERYTHING
  24. apart.  Everything.  He was almost in tears.  We got it working
  25. again.  He never actually paid his bills, though.)
