- I'm new at the Mac world, and currently have a chance of getting a
- Mac LC 4/80 with monitor for about $1000. It's 3 months old, and would
- be from a reliable source (friend).
-
- I've heard talk about LC's and LCII's, what's the difference?
-
- Also, I know that expansion is limited, is there just one slot open?
- All I can think of for expansion is a CD ROM right now, how would that hook
- up?
-
- This would be a personal/family machine, so I wasn't too worried about speed,
- but I have seen some nice games (esp. HotP!!) that I like. Will they run on
- the LC ok?
-
- Now I see the new Mac's announced on this forum, the Perfoma, should I
- wait and see?
-
- thanks for any help/advice/experience. Please email me, I will post a
- summary if I get a lot of data.
