- I want to dump my buggy Trident TVGA 8800 SVGA card and get another
- cheap SVGA card that's faster and has no bugs. I'm looking at get-
- ting Tseng Lab's ET-4000 SVGA card for $99 mail order.
-
- Is Tseng Lab's still the best among the low-cost non-co-processed
- SVGA cards out there? Better than the Trident 8900 variety? Does
- Tseng have good customer and application support?
-
- When I purchase the Tseng Lab ET-4000 SVGA card, are there any
- versions I should look out for? IE, if the card is an ET-4000,
- does that automatically mean it has the latest chip set? And if
- there is one, what would be the latest version or update?
-
- What does ET-4000 indicate? I've seen plain VGA (640x480) ,
- Super VGA (1024x768) and the new Super-Duper VGA (1280x1024
- and a few million colors) from Tseng Labs all called ET-4000
- boards.
-
- Thanks for any help.
