- DR DOS does not require SHARE for large volumes. It only exists because
- some programs, expecting the brain dead MS DOS 4.0, check to be sure
- that SHARE is loaded. DR DOS' SHARE is only needed if you're using
- a multitasker or task switcher (or network), which we don't know.

-
- You might want to know that kmcvay@zoo is a bogus address, according to
- the mailer at CUNYVM, and so is kmcvay@zoo.bitnet.
-
- You need to load EMM36 explicitly, by including it in the CONFIG.SYS,
- or alternatively USE that QEMM program you have commented out, by
- using the installer program that comes with either. QEMM is supposed
- to be better, but I've never tried it, and DR DOS' memory manager works
- very well indeed for me. (I have 636K of memory available for programs,
- after I load two TSRs).
