  11. I've recently seem some post here and on FIDOnet about being able
  12. to install an XT drive and controller as a second disk on an AT
  13. class machine.  I would like very much to be able to put the drive
  14. from my old XT into my current 386.  I tried last night, but the
  15. system failed to boot completely.  Not even '1701' etc.
  16.  
  17. If anyone has actually done this, I would appreciate an E-mail note
  18. on how you did it.  The technical specs are:

  20.     XT drive: WD-1003 RRL controller with 30 Meg Kyocera drive (55ms)
  21.     386SX 209Mhx system w/ 120 Meg WD IDE drive (18ms)
