- I think to some extent, the 24X's performance is limited by the memory
- bandwidth on the board. It seems to do better at the lower refresh
- rates and with fewer colors. It is definitely much slower in
- 15 and 24bit color, but not so slow as to make me think acceleration

- Also, I ran winbench on my 24X using the "generic" windows 3.1
- 800x600x16 SVGA driver. It got 44,000 chars/sec. I guess
- the generic driver knows about the 9031. It didn't use the
- hardware cursor, though the Diamond 800x600x16 driver does.
