- A friend's Tiawanese-clone 386-33 motherboard makes very distinct and
- varied buzzes whenever the system is not idle. The sounds are
- unrelated to disk activity, and they seem to be louder on warm days.
- They sound something like very quiet hard disk noises (but that is not
- what they are -- I've checked very carefully). The sounds appear to be
- coming from the mainboard itself, and seem to be related to bus activity.
-
- I've never heard anything like this before. Has anyone else?
