  10. Yikes... damn.. AMODEM really IS "BobTerm, but in BASIC"!!!  (I got 
  11. version 4.something from the archive, and version 7.52 from a BBS last 
  12. night.  It was described as "having all the features as BobTerm, but in 
  13. BASIC"... which, amazingly enough,  it DOES!  I wish I would've gotten 
  14. this long ago instead of version 4.x!!  I used some of the routines in 
  15. 4.x as a base for my modem-using programs.  It's not a bad start, but like
  16. I posted earlier, I had to make a GOSUB'd routine to handle all the "all 
  17. the time" things (clock, chat mode, etc) and then jump to it all the 
  18. time!  AMODEM has an ML routine doing it!

  20. One drawback though... I (legally) can't use much from v.7.52 because 
  21. it's NOT PD...          So I guess I made that clock handler before i got 
  22. it! haha...

  24. Anyways.. for a good hack, i recommend AMODEM 7.52(or higher...!?)

  29. oh, one more drawback.... using MyDOS 4.53/4, BASIC (rev.C?), SX Handler 
  30. (by Trent Dudley...same guy I beleive..?), (and with Hyper E: v.2 
  31. installed.. it takes a K or 2), it only has a 2K buffer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
