  11. There are a very few programs, like Flight Simulator II and, I think, Atari
  12. Planetarium, which use a copy protection system that checks the disk drive's
  13. RPM.  This doesn't work on the XF551 because it runs at 300 RPM instead of
  14. 288 like earlier Atari drives.  So, to run Flight Simulator, you either have
  15. to boot from a 1050 drive or find someone with a pirated copy.  Of course,
  16. there's the Flight Simulator cartridge, but I hear it doesn't work with
  17. scenery disks.
