- I've been using a Syquest for a few weeks, and it works fine, both with a
- RamFast and a HiSpeed SCSI card.
-
- My drive is very fast - it hits 19.x ms on both the HIS and RF cards (the
- RF is about .1-.2 ms faster).
-
- However, my drive doesn't allow ejecting the disk under software control;
- this is dependant on the software on the mech. Tony Diaz's drive will
- eject the cart under software control (ie: dragging into the trash), but
- mine will just drop the cart offline until I either exit/reenter Finder or
- manually eject the cart/put it back in.
-
- In other words, it works just dandy, even under P8.
