  13. Please help me before I murder this A2000!!

  15. I just got this A2090 card to control an old hard drive I picked up a while
  16. back. It's a MiniScribe 8425S 20 Megger. When I got the A2090, it didn't
  17. have any install disk, but somebody was nice enough to uuencode and mail
  18. it to me. I copied my Workbench disk like instructed and booted up with that
  19. disk. I then went over to the Instal disk and double clicked on the Install
  20. icon. A bunch of stuff got copied into RAM: and then another screen came
  21. up. I was asked if I wanted to continue, said yes and the drive copies some
  22. stuf into  my mountlist and c: directory. Then it goes into this this where
  23. it says "loading driver" the workbench disk spins for a second and then it
  24. just sits there. I can't close the window, or exit the program. I bring up
  25. another Shell, do a Mount RES2: and it is mounted (confirmed using assign).
  26. Then I type Prep RES2: and I get an error   -1 return code from Harddisk.device
  27. or something like that.

  29. What the frick am I doing wrong????

  31. ONE time I tried, I got it to go as far as loading driver, actually load the
  32. driver, it brought up alittle menu and asked if I had 0)custom installation
  33. 1)scsi 2)st506. I put in 0, and it asked me all the questions about heads
  34. and cylindes and all that. It said eveything was cool and to reboot the system
  35. now. I did so, and the thing just stopped halfway through the SSequence....

  37. What set of pins should the drive jumper be on???? I've been trying with
  38. it on the rear most set, and the next one closer to the front.
