  17. There is an electronic switch box available specialy for these
  18. cases. It's called the "arXon switchbox". This switchbox can also
  19. be  controlled  by  software (you can connect a control cable to
  20. your mouse port and still use that mouse port).

  22. The arXon switchbox is specialy designed for speed and does not
  23. use the "normal" chips as used by most electronic switch boxes...

  25. I also do support this box in my printer drivers, so here a part
  26. of my readme file:

  28. "The  driver  supports  the  arXon  parallel switch box.  The arXon
  29. switch  box is an external 1 to 3 centronics switch controlable by
  30. software.   You  can  ask  the  driver  to automaticly switch to a
  31. wanted  port  for  printing and switch back to the previously used
  32. port after printing.  This enables you to use a scanner, digitizer
  33. and  printer  from  your  Amigas centronics port without switching
  34. between the devices "by hand".  Specify the wanted printer port in
  35. "sbox_printer"  and the default port (which should be set up after
  36. printing)  in  "sbox_active".   If  you specify 0 (default) as the
  37. port, no switching will take place.

  39. Note:   "sbox_active" MUST be specified before using the driver in
  40. order  to  enable  the  "sbox_printer"  command.   This is because
  41. "sbox_active"  is  used  to  determine  weather  a  switch  box is
