- I've found an STB video card with the S3 chip on it and would like to use
- it with OS/2 2.0. I'd appreciate some feedback as to:
- 1) How good does it perform?
- 2) Any compatibility problems?
- 3) When would drivers be available?
-
- The card is capable of 1024x768x256 non-interlaced and has the Sierra
- RAMDAC on it. sorry, don't know the model # off-hand.
-
- I had been considering a Diamond Stealth or Orchid F1280, but this seems like
- it might be just as good.. Which would be best? What does everybody
- recommend?
-
- My main concern is driver availability.. I have heard of various release
- dates for drivers from Diamond and Orchid. Also, I did see some
- thread referring to STB a month or so back, but since I wasn't looking at
- STB at the time, I ignored it (silly me)..
-
- Any information regarding STB or any other S3 board is welcome..
