  19. Damn.  Looks like AT&T/USL has already won if a place with as deep pockets
  20. and as long a history/reputation in the university Unix community as CMU is
  21. backing off rather than standing behind Berkeley.  I hope for your sakes
  22. USL doesn't later decide Mach3 and any derived products are a threat to its
  23. revenue stream.

  25. Note that I can't really blame CMU: Maryland would almost certainly do the
  26. same thing.  This whole system of legal extortion and intimidation sucks
  27. rocks.
