- I speak for me and how I precieve things going on here at
- CMU. I do not necessarily speak for anyone else including
- CMU.

- While we are not about to stop anyone who already has a copy
- from using BNR2SS, we are no longer distributing it. CMU is
- not willing to risk getting drawn into a lawsuit over this.
- By stopping distribution as soon as the lawsuit with BSDI
- and CSRG went public, we can claim that we acted in good
- faith and never knowingly distributed AT&T code. While I
- dont necessarily agree with this choice, I understand it.
- I put a number of months into BNR2SS and would hate to see
- it die here, but it is not my choice.
