  13. We sell Objectivity/DB, an object DBMS, and related products.  Our
  14. particular strengths in the engine area include a unique full
  15. distribution and heterogeneity, that delivers a single logical view
  16. across multiple databases on a mixture of heterogeneous machines,
  17. and high performance that scales with objects and users.
  18. On the broader environment, we work with more tools, etc., off-the-shelf
  19. due to our use of standard languages (no modifications to c or c++
  20. or proprietary pre-processor required), and also have built our tools
  21. around an open backplane that can be integrated with third party
  22. tools and backplanes, and in fact has been so integrated with HP Softbench.
