- I had payrolls to get out thirty years ago when I started as a programmer. I get
- the impression that although the technology has improved (courtesy of the
- research and academic community), people in commercial computing are still
- struggling with the same problems that faced them when computing was still new and
- exciting. In other words "life changes" very little.
