  15. I have just steped up to a 14.4 modem from my old 24.  I find that it is
  16. great calling out, but I am having a difficult time getting it to answer
  17. for my BBS.

  19. It is a V32bis TurboModem from TheComplete PC.

  28. The BBS Software issues ATA<CR> when it detects a ring.

  30. I have been told of two responses:  The first is that NOTHING happens after
  31. connect, and the other is some garbage on the screen.  It reportedly
  32. connects at 14400, 9600/V42Bis, and lower, but it never shows any valuable
  33. data on the caller's screen.

  35. If you can give any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.  However, my
