  11.      I was asked to help test some new modems we received.  They are 
  12. Microtech modems which are able to run at 14.4.  We want to connect one
  13. to a Cisco router and the other to a NAT router and PC over a dial-up line.
  14. However,  we want to be able to monitor the throughput and verify that it
  15. is really 14.4.  How would one go about doing this?  Any suggestions would
