  12. I have tried to follow all of the discussions about the Practical Peripherals
  13. PM14400FXSA but want to make sure that I have a good understanding of any
  14. problems before I order one.

  16. I think that the last remaining problem that people are having with the
  17. current ROM version is that after a period of time of use, the modem loses
  18. the ability to negotiate a V.42/V.42bis connection.  It also sounds like
  19. a power cycle of the modem clears this up.  Is this correct?
