  27. The Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and the
  28. Simulation of Behaviour will hold its ninth bi-annual conference on
  29. the dates above at the University of Birmingham.

  31. This is a reminder that the deadline for submitted papers and posters
  32. is 15 September 1992 (though a few days leeway will be allowed).

  34. Papers are invited in any of the normal areas represented at AI and
  35. Cognitive Science conferences, including:

  63. The conference proceedings will be published. Long papers and invited
  64. papers will definitely be included. Selected poster summaries may be
  65. included if there is space.

  68.                  PAPER LENGTH and SUBMISSION DETAILS
  69.  
  70. Full papers:
  71.     10 pages maximum, A4 or 8.5"x11", no smaller than 12 point print
  72.     size Times Roman or similar preferred, in letter quality print.

  74. Poster submissions
  75.     5 pages summary
  76.  
  77. Excessively long papers will be rejected without being reviewed.

  79. All submissions should include

  81.     1. Full names and addresses of all authors
  82.     2. Electronic mail address if available
  83.     3. Topic area
  84.     4. Label: "Long paper" or "Poster summary"
  85.     5. Abstract no longer than 10 lines.
  86.     6. Statement certifying that the paper is not being
  87.        submitted elsewhere for publication.
  88.     7. An undertaking that if the paper is accepted at least
  89.        one of the authors will attend the conference.
