- Well, SLIP over LAT in this fashion most definitely does work. (Though
- I don't think that TGV or anyone else will tell you that it's "supported".)
- Have you made sure that the DECserver port is set up correctly
- to give you an "8-bit-clean" path? (I.e. no flow control, no local switch,
- etc.)

- One thing you might try as an intermediate troubleshooting technique
- is to see whether your LAT path is working OK. Create the service as
- described, but DON'T have SLIP grab hold of the LTA. Have your PC
- LAT CONNECT to the service and see if data can pass thru that path.
- (E.g. via $ COPY LOGIN.COM SLIP0:.)
