- What I do is

- 1. have smtp_symbiont.log files on all my nodes and
- 2. process these log files once a day for postmaster activity and
- 3. mail the extracted problem logs to myself.

- This has the advantages of:

- I see only log info, not mail text

- and i can spot problems from the logs as well as if postmaster sent me a
- bounced message.
