  15. I had this problem on my Mitsubishi Eclipse but it was becuase the wipers weren't
  16. "broke-in" yet.  We get very little rain here in CA so my wipers are used very
  17. infrequently.  When I did have to use them a lot, in a rare shower, the wipers
  18. skipped and jumped because they were leaving black rubber residue on the
  19. windshield.  Razor blade the stuff off the windshield and the wipers seem to work
  20. OK.
