- Okay, something simple....did you checkthe throttle cable going to tne
- carb...when I had my tranny rebuilt lately..they dropped the tranny off
- which forced the engine to tip forward..whick shifted the postion of the
- cable in the holder...which raised the idle 300-400 rpm...really
- confusing till i noticied the cable had been pulled back about .5 inches
- or so...
- I am thinking that when the carb was put on maybe the cable was not
- adjusted properly...and that it is just pulling on the throttle all the
- time...try loosening it up and slidding the cable forward a bit to
- release some tension on the cable...
