  20. Okay, something simple....did you checkthe throttle cable going to tne
  21. carb...when I had my tranny rebuilt lately..they dropped the tranny off
  22. which forced the engine to tip forward..whick shifted the postion of the
  23. cable in the holder...which raised the idle 300-400 rpm...really
  24. confusing till i noticied the cable had been pulled back about .5 inches
  25. or so...
  26. I am thinking that when the carb was put on maybe the cable was not
  27. adjusted properly...and that it is just pulling on the throttle all the
  28. time...try loosening it up and slidding the cable forward a bit to
  29. release some tension on the cable...
