- Because the guy who worked for that company told me that they made them by
- taking rod of tungsten about 3/4" in diameter by 6" long, drilling a hole
- lengthwise through it with a diamond drill, filling the hole with a brass
- rod, heating it, hammering it out until it was very long and skinny, cutting
- it into rods of the appropriate length, and melting the brass out. Of course
- that was quite some time back, so I suppose by now they may use this powdered
- metal business that's been described here.
