- Other methods might include:
-
- Fill the number 1 cylinder with ~1/4 cup oil @ 10deg ATDC, then put
- spark plug back in.
-
- Stop the fly wheel from turning by wedging something in the starter
- teeth.
-
- Get a tall narrow pole, and with the breaker-bar on the nut,
- stick the pole down the spark plug hole and use a ramming action to push
- the piston down. You might want to wrap some electrical tape on the tip
- of the pole so you don't scratch the piston.
-
- Brace the breaker-bar as before, roll the car down a nice hill
- with the clutch in and the stick in reverse, then pop the clutch at the
- moment of peak velocity.
-
- Using a large hammer and cold chisel, remove the bolt by striking
- the corner of your left toe.
-
- Secure the breaker bar to the car as usual. Using a hairspray
- bottle, introduce a combustable mixture into the spark plug hole.
- Quickly replace the spark plug, connect the plug wire, and hook the primary
- side of the ignition up to the wall outlet.
-
- Sorry, but it's been so long since I posted I got a little silly-Mike
