  12. I just got the IBM executable for MicroEmacs 3.11c, dated 8/9/92, and
  13. have run into a curious problem.  Everything goes ok until I access help
  14. [f6].  As usual, the star is in the box for Basics, but if I hit
  15. down-arrow, the cursor briefly flashes in the upper right corner then
  16. settles in the lower left corner and the machine locks up.

  18. This happens even tho there is no mouse driver and plain ANSI.SYS.  With
  19. a mouse driver (latest version of MOUSE.SYS),  the cursor settles in the
  20. upper left corner of the text screen and again a lockup.
  21.  
  22. Anyone else run into this?  Any suggestions?

  24. I have a 486/33 with DOS 5.0 and 4DOS 4.01.
