- I don't regularly read this group so this may be a FAQ.

- Has anyone considered changing the speller (M-x spell-*) so that it
- would check the spelling of your replacement before changing the
- buffer. Maybe it could give a polite message like "can't find your
- replacement word either. replace anyway(y/n)". Currently I have to
- run the spell checker repetitively. IMO, this change would make it
- more user friendly, at least to those of us who can't spell to save
- their lives.
