  11. I don't regularly read this group so this may be a FAQ.

  13. Has anyone considered changing the speller (M-x spell-*) so that it
  14. would check the spelling of your replacement before changing the
  15. buffer.  Maybe it could give a polite message like "can't find your
  16. replacement word either. replace anyway(y/n)".  Currently I have to
  17. run the spell checker repetitively.  IMO, this change would make it
  18. more user friendly, at least to those of us who can't spell to save
  19. their lives.
