- DAT is an included media in the package (both 6250-cartridge and DAT are in the
- box). I was rather surprised to see this.
-
- It makes a single-tape-drive machine quite feasible if you have large
- fixed-disks; this didn't used to be true.
-
- The package ships with two (or three if you have unlimited users) disks and the
- two tapes. You boot the disks; the system prompts you to insert the tape and
- off you go. Slick installation, very fast, and much nicer than doing the
- diskette shuffle.
-
- The new release is extremely nice; those of you who haven't seen it owe yourself
- a check-out of the package. They've cleaned up most of the little annoyances in
- the product, and included a few new things (including one very annoying one; a
- demo copy of Framemaker. Now I'm going to have to spend some real money ;-)
-
- No serious problems found so far at my home site (I'm at work right now).
