  10. Before I try too hard, has anyone else figured out how to
  11. get the "best" out of the above combination using X386?

  13. Everything I try seems to be too much flicker or the monitor
  14. doesn't seem to keep up.  I know I can do 640x480x256 I've
  15. done it with the DOS BIOS's help.  And I can reproduce it
  16. by loading the registers under unix (Dell SysVR4) etc.

  18. I would really love to get a 800x540 (Max on the old II not
  19. the IIa) with 256 colors working.  I know the Paradise only
  20. has clocks 25, 28 & 36
