- Before I try too hard, has anyone else figured out how to
- get the "best" out of the above combination using X386?
-
- Everything I try seems to be too much flicker or the monitor
- doesn't seem to keep up. I know I can do 640x480x256 I've
- done it with the DOS BIOS's help. And I can reproduce it
- by loading the registers under unix (Dell SysVR4) etc.
-
- I would really love to get a 800x540 (Max on the old II not
- the IIa) with 256 colors working. I know the Paradise only
- has clocks 25, 28 & 36
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Karl
