- The big advantage of the DX2 series is for floating-point, where it DOES
- run nearly twice as fast as its undoubled brethren. However, I'm
- disappointed that we will have to wait so long for the 586; the rumor is
- that the 586 reduces the average add/multiply clock count to about 2
- clicks, vs. 14 on the 486. Intel may double the 486 speed, by I doubt
- they will ever septuple it.
