  13. As of this very second, I am writing this post using olwm, ported
  14. to 386BSD.  Now, I have been looking at previous posts concerning
  15. "xv," and my only problem with releasing the port is the legality of
  16. the distribution of this system.

  18. If someone can tell me that its legal to give this port away,
  19. its free.  OL is based on xview, which I found on export.lcs.mit.edu.

  21. BTW, it took 3 days on my 486/33 to compile, and I'm not
  22. *extremely* pleased with all the kludges I had to make to get it
  23. to run..

  25. But look at it this way: olwm ran the first time I started it,
  26. and its still running.
