  28. In attempting to write the X11R5 device driver for the Diamond Stealth,
  29. I am running into a brick-wall. The problem and a well known problem
  30. is that Diamond chose to use a propieratory mechanism for setting the clock 
  31.  
  32. They promised to deliver the information to me but till I don't see I will
  33. remain skeptical.

  35. Due to the clock feature, other X11R5 programmers experience with the S3 chipset,  have recommended using the Orchid or Farenhiet S3 based cards.

  37. Diamond may release all the information on how to program their cards. there
  38. is a good possibility for this as some postings have indicated Diamond's
  39. intentions.

  41. My concern is if they do, then when will I get the information?

  43. From my point of view, If don't get my information by this friday
  44. I will be more than happy to take the card back and get something
  45. like an Orchid S3 based card.
