  10. I have one Sun running OS 4.1.1 which can mount a PC's drive C:
  11. when the PC is running SOSS.  But, my SPARC 1+ running 4.1 can't.
  12. Why?  It looks like the version of mount I'm running on one machine
  13. vs. the other.  If I copy the /usr/etc/mount from the machine
  14. running 4.1.1 to the one running 4.1, everything works fine.
  15. Strings tells me that the 4.1.1 mount is vers. 2.94, versus 2.93
  16. on 4.1.

  18. Legal questions:

  20. 1) Am I allowed simply to copy the executable from
  21. one to the other, thereby solving my problem?

  23. 2) Assuming not, is there any source on the net for a freely
  24. distributable version of mount.c that's at least as good as
  25. Sun's vers. 2.94, and will work on 4.1?
