- What a drag. We run a fairly large network of Suns over here
- most of which are running 4.1.1. After installing a few new
- Sparc2s and loading them up with 4.1.2, lpd fails to launch
- (occasionally) during a reboot and dumps the message:
-
- "lpd: printer/tcp - unkonwn service"
-
- This is most bogus because its listed as 515 in every services
- file on the network and is also available through NIS.
-
- Anybody else seeing this problem? Anybody else got a fix?
