- I've been a System 7 user for about a year now and I think it's great on
- my LC, much nicer than 6.07. However, I must agree with the original poster
- that at least the Finder is slower. TuneUp helps though. A recent MacUser or
- Macworld article showed actual speeds of System 7 versus an incarnation of
- System 6 and definitely showed System 7 to be slower, apparently due to all
- the stuff it's doing behind the scenes (pretty technical, eh?).

- I hear that the speed differences aren't as noticable on more powerful
- machines, so some may not see a speed difference. I do, though. But it's
- not enough to make me want to go back to System 6.07! (can you say 'Bus
