  21.   I've been a System 7 user for about a year now and I think it's great on
  22. my LC, much nicer than 6.07.  However, I must agree with the original poster
  23. that at least the Finder is slower.  TuneUp helps though. A recent MacUser or
  24. Macworld article showed actual speeds of System 7 versus an incarnation of
  25. System 6 and definitely showed System 7 to be slower, apparently due to all
  26. the stuff it's doing behind the scenes (pretty technical, eh?).

  28.   I hear that the speed differences aren't as noticable on more powerful
  29. machines, so some may not see a speed difference. I do, though.  But it's
  30. not enough to make me want to go back to System 6.07! (can you say 'Bus
  31. Error' boys and girls?)
