- Dear Mr Hofflin.
- In case you don't follow the new, Apple is trying to expand its custome
- base.
- It wants to sell to consumers- the SEARs crowd. These people are not going
- to
- be enthusiastic about buying a $2500 machine, even it is a 32 bit 33MHZ 3
- slot
- 68030 speed demon, when they see they can buy a PS/1 type thingy for $1000
- or less. Shoot- why do people feel the entire world has to revolve around
- their prefence? Apple have not stopped selling fast computers. They have
- brought the prices of their fast computers down at a steady rate. If you
- don't want one of the el cheapo machines, don't buy one. But why feel you
- have to restrict other people's choices?
