  15. I would like to hear from some shareware authors,
  16. or anybody else has statistics :
  17. 1/  What is the typical percent of people, 
  18. who register shareware vs. those, who just 
  19. "try it for some time".
  20. 2/ How does it depend on price and availability
  21. of next version of the program after registration?
  22.  
  23. 3/ How many people use shareware - popular things
  24. like pkzip and programs like calendars, drivers for
  25. special needs, stand-alone utilities...
  26.  Maybe there is some statistics on SIMTEL regarding this?
  27.  But it still will be number of people, who try, not of
  28. those who use it
  29.  
  30. 4/ How many people get it from SIMTEL and other archives vs.
  31. those, who get it through mail-companies, who distribute
  32. disks with shareware?
  33.
