  12. I've got a caching IDE disk controller that can be used as a
  13. second controller. You can use another IDE, or MFM or RLL
  14. controller as the first controller. If you use it as a second
  15. controller, you will have to load a small device driver though.

  17. The controller is from Promise Technology Inc and is called
  18. DriveCache DC-2031. It's a 16bit ISA card. It has an
  19. 80186 processor and can be fitted with up to 16Mb RAM. The card
  20. without RAM isn't that expencive. I paid around $ 300 for it.
  21. It uses standard 1 and 4 Mb SIMMs.
