- How to setup HD in CMOS?
-
- I installed a 130MB IDE HD in my 386DX-20 system. The Pheonix BIOS on
- Mother Board does not provide a user defined HD type. Dose anybody
- know how to:
- 1. Write HD parameters into CMOS directly?
- I heard DEBUG may work. But I need CMOS RAM mapping address,
- format, and method to write cylinders, heads, sectors etc.
- 2. Is there any way to get user defined type in Pheonix BIOS 1.1?
- 3. other better method to get full 130MB useage?
-
- Please reply to this E-mail address or this news group. Thanks in advance.
