  11. I want to know if any has any experience with Adaptec 1542B
  12. and IDE adaptors on the same system.  Can it be done?  I have
  13. two perfectly good IDE drives which I would like to use in the
  14. following configuration:

  16. 486/50 (EISA or ISA?)
  17. Connor CP30170  (170 MB IDE)
  18. Seagate ST1102  (89 MB IDE)
  19.  
  20. Adaptec 1542B (bus mastering SCSI-2)
  21. Sony CD
  22. Hard disks?  brands and models which will work?
  23.  
  24. Does this work?  Do I have to have EISA or will ISA work?  How
  25. about the COREL SCSI?  AMI Fast Drive?
