- I'm real confused ....
-
- My school is changing their computer setup so that we users can
- access their USENET feed and mail and Internet services. To do this,
- we are supposed to use SLIP to create an IP address for Internet stuff
- (like FTP) and a mail reader that supports POP3 protocol. Apparently,
- we have to use a popmail mail reader to access mail and/or USENET.
-
- Now, I don't reallu undertand any of this stuff, and the school is -
- how should we say, less than sympathetic - to Amiga users. They say we
- can't do it. Please tell me I can. Can I use AmigaNOS for SLIP?
-
- WHat mail reader supports pop3. Any help anyone can provide will be
- honored with a great big message in skywriting. Or a thanks ...
