- Okay, there are a few things that I just can't seem to get OS/2 to do or
- stop doing and I was hoping some folks could help me with them:
-
- 1 - I can't seem to figure out how to tell OS/2 to open a window maximized.
- When I open my DOS windows, part of the batch file it runs puts it in
- 50-line mode. Yet, OS/2 just initially makes the window 25-lines high and
- then hits me with a scroll-bar when I got to 50-lines in the DOS session.
- I'd like to be able to start it up with a 50-line-sized window.
-
- 2 - (This is probably almost the same problem as #1). OS/2 doesn't seem to
- 'dynamically' maximize the window. If I maximize a 50-line DOS window and
- then go to 25-lines, the window will shrink. However, if I switch back to
- 50-lines again, the window won't grow back. Hmph! Annoying.
-
- 3 - Whenever I maximize a DOS window, OS/2 shoots it up into the upper left
- hand corner.
-
- Now, since I have several programs that I run in 50-line mode, my DOS boxes
- switch in and out of 50-line mode often. And these three annoyances keep me
- constantly clicking on the maximize button and going up to the upper-left
- corner to retrieve the window after OS/2 does me the dubious favor of
- moving it for me.
-
- Does anyone know how to get around any of these?
