  17. DC. Big mistake!  You deleted all the extended attributes, but you didn't
  18. DC. clear the FAT flags that OS/2 uses to indicate the presence of EA's.
  19. DC. So, OS/2 thinks the file has EAs, but it can't load them.  Your only
  20. DC. solution now is to reformat the partition.

  22. What would be nice is a utility I can run under DOS which will clear all
  23. of the FAT flags and start tabula rasa without reformatting the partition.
